Facilities Technician

Crow Wing Power has a position open for a full-time Facility Technician position. This position is responsible for providing facility building maintenance and repairs to our entire campus and service centers to include interior and exterior. This position will also ensure a professional presentation of all Crow Wing Power buildings both inside and outside as well as maintain the fleet washing, lawn care, snow removal, and other assigned responsibilities. A successful candidate must demonstrate great customer service skills, teamwork, strong communication skills with co-workers and vendors, accountability, self-workload management, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, organizational skills, and the ability to analyze facts and circumstances and resolve problems.

Education, Skills, and Requirements:

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

· Hold a valid driver’s license in the state of Minnesota

· Must pass pre-employment requirements

· Must maintain a valid fork truck operator certification

· Must be able to obtain a boiler license

· Must be able to obtain a public drinking water certification

· Must possess strong computer skills with Word and Outlook, plus the aptitude and ability to learn new programs

· Knowledgeable in HVAC preferred

· Johnson Controls Metasys experience preferred

· Able to fill in for the Facility Technician II position when needed

· Take initiative of projects and hold oneself accountable for workload with minimal supervision
