We have an Oil & Gas client seeking to hire a Field Planner/Scheduler to join their team based in La Porte, TX. In this role, you will develop and maintain project schedules to support construction and engineering activities in the field.

•Workplace: 100% in-office (No hybrid or remote schedule available)
•Work Schedule: 50 hours a week / Monday-Friday
•Work type: W2 Contract with potential for renewal
•Estimated Duration: March 2025 – November 2025
•Rate: Hourly with 1.5x OT

Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to create detailed work plans and schedules for construction activities.
•Monitor progress against project schedules and identify potential risks or delays.
•Conduct critical path analysis and prepare schedule reports to update stakeholders on project status.
•Organize and compile construction planning information for weekly, bi-weekly, and general construction schedules.
•Participate in meetings with project teams, vendors, and contractors to address schedule status and updates.
•Perform progress audits through routine project walkthroughs.
•Assist in developing schedule alternatives to accommodate changes and priorities.
Qualifications:
•7-15 years of experience in planning/scheduling roles within heavy industrial construction, EPC projects, or related industries.
•Expertise in Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, and progress measurement.
•Strong background in Oil & Gas, Industrial Gases, or Petrochemical industries.
•Proficiency in developing detailed construction schedules and identifying risk impacts.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
