ob Summary:

This role provides support across cost accounting, financial analysis and reporting, and internal controls related to construction and clean energy projects. The analyst will manage tasks involving SAP financial systems, project reconciliation, and final closeout activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance across project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Prepare construction contract awards and change order requisitions in SAP, including those for contractors, air monitoring, design, and inspection vendors.

•

Review project invoices to confirm SAP purchase order accuracy, proper account assignments, dollar values, approval levels, funding availability, and documentation.

•

Coordinate reconciliation processes with project engineers upon completion milestones; analyze variances between SAP and final engineering scopes including labor, material, and fees.

•

Complete financial closeouts in SAP including contract commitment closures, billing verification, preparation of accounting journal entries, and final closeout memorandums.

•

Maintain and update reconciliation and closeout data in the Project Management database (Primavera).

•

Support financial control activities and distribute finalized billing memos, journal entries, and closeout documents to Accounting, Billing, and Primavera support teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

•

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

•

Strong working knowledge of SAP is highly preferred

•

Proficient understanding of cost accounting and general accounting principles

•

Familiarity with Primavera and general fee schedules is preferred

•

Basic knowledge of contract terms and conditions is beneficial

•

Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills

•

Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders

•

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments, especially Procurement

Education:

•

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
