Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager the Food Service Specialist will interact with Food Service employees, Store Managers, and District Managers to ensure successful execution of the Parkland food safety requirements at locations. The Specialist will work to ensure all Parkland food programs are executed accurately to maintain brand integrity & excellent guest service. They will develop, train, and implement consistent food production methods while working with site level operations teams to grow top line food service sales in all assigned locations. This role will work with DM, SM, and site level food service staff to monitor and improve sales, waste, margins, and inv. Adjustments. Responsibilities:
Champion’s the Parkland USA food programs by evaluating, supporting, and executing the implementation of the food programs & food safety on a store and regional basis.* Support food service production & merchandising as well as acts as a liaison in the field environment. Implement new programs and products at store level as assigned.
Coaches and counsels store managers and territory managers on effective production, merchandising and marketing of their food service products. Assists with these processes in stores where needed and as directed.
Create SOPs and training for Foodservice programs in partnership with Category Managers, Food Safety, and Operations teams and ensure documentation of processes, procedures, and instructions are integrated into the Parkland USA knowledge base.* Identify successful new production ideas and methods, which can be shared throughout the company to positively impact top line sales & profitability. Conduct competitive price surveys and observe competitors for changes in key food service offerings as requested.
University degree, or equivalent education in management, with a solid food service background.
