POSITION SUMMARY:

MPC’s Galveston Bay Refinery, located in Texas City, TX is currently accepting applications for an experienced Machinist. The schedule for this position will be a 4-10 schedule (Monday-Thursday) or a rotating shift schedule. A Machinist will support the operation of the refinery by properly maintaining and repairing refinery mechanical systems. This allows for safe, compliant, and reliable refinery operation to support the refinery’s strategic business goals.

Starting hourly pay for this position is between $43.50 - $53.23 and is typically based on relevant prior work experience, qualifications, and union contract wage rates. Additional increases are based on demonstrated qualification/proficiency and/or years of experience after being hired. Annual increases are scheduled.

The position includes a competitive wage, comprehensive benefits package including a company matched 401k, pension, and medical benefits.
