General Foreman - Remelt

The General Foreman – Remelt Shop will balance supervisorial, administrative and technical duties for compliance with budgetary and resource requirements while overseeing the coordination of operations and maintenance activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

Specific primary responsibilities are defined by the following, but not limited to;

Day to day leader of the remelt area, with support to the Melt Shop Manager as required

+ Requiring staff to maintain 5S standards and general orderliness + Ensuring compliance with Safety & Health, Environmental + Enhancing safety and morale by identifying and reducing hazards + Reviewing process charts and data for deviations, providing recommendations as to disposition to Technical Department + Implement changes to existing procedures to standardize and improve department work instructions + Develop and document per protocol recommendations to improve quality, including standard practices and melt profiles.
