Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Field Mechanic to join our client’s team in Tulsa, OK. This position involves traveling to customer job sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoes, and trackhoes. The ideal candidate will be highly independent, experienced in troubleshooting and repairs, and committed to safety and quality service.
Essential Job Functions:•Travel to customer job sites to repair and maintain rental or owned heavy equipment.
•Diagnose issues and perform field repairs on earth-moving machinery.
•Independently perform all levels of troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
•Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust repairs.
•Maintain service truck cleanliness and assist with parts pickup and delivery.
•Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures.
•Attend factory and specialized training as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Preferred experience in heavy equipment repair.
•Strong knowledge of John Deere, Bobcat, Komatsu, and other heavy equipment manufacturers.
•Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
•Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor with customers, managers, and coworkers.
•Ability to read and understand manuals, MSDS, and written instructions in English.
•Advanced mechanical aptitude.
Requirements:
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
•Must be at least 18 years old.
•Knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.
•Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
