Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting concrete bridge beams. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own truck and equipment to deliver exceptional service while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to manage your own operations effectively. Seguro Truck Lines will rent you the specialized trailers.
Responsibilities
•
Operate your own truck, ensuring it is well-maintained and compliant with all safety standards.
•
Chain down the cargo as required.
•
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
•
Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.
•
Ensure the safe handling of all cargo during transport.
Qualifications
•
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
•
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
•
Experience operating various types of over length trailers.
•
Ability to perform basic maintenance on trucks and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.
•
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
•
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy and government mandates.
