Operator
Overall responsibility - in charge of general care and operation of specific equipment in order to facilitate project progress in a safe and productive manner.
Specific tasks
•
Keeping machine clean and orderly.
•
Checking and monitoring essential fluids such as oil, fuel, DEF, and the like.
•
Notifying foreman, superintendent and/or shop personnel about problems and maintenance issues.
•
Keeping tracks, wheels, cabs, operating points clear of dirt, mud, sand and other foreign objects or debris that would cause unnecessary wear.
•
Operation of equipment to meet the needs of the project per the direction of the project foreman and/or superintendent.
•
Operation of equipment with safety at the forefront of any processes.
