Painter/Sandblaster Position Available
Darkhorse is seeking a skilled painter/sandblaster with experience in maintaining and refurbishing frac tanks, storage tanks, and oilfield equipment as the primary focus. This role involves sandblasting and coating various surfaces to ensure our equipment meets the highest standards for our customers.
Responsibilities:
•
Perform sandblasting and airless painting, primarily on frac tanks, with occasional work on piping, trailers, and smaller equipment.
•
Operate and maintain sandblasting and airless paint systems efficiently.
•
Ensure work areas are organized and clean to maintain productivity and safety.
•
Assist in other maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
•
Proven experience with sandblasting and airless paint systems (frac tank experience preferred).
•
Proficiency in using Windows and Microsoft Office for logging work and managing records.
•
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
•
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
•
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
•
Willingness to work overtime and respond to call-outs as needed.
Schedule & Pay:
•
Normal hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday mornings.
•
Average 47.5–53 hours per week, with overtime paid after 40 hours.
•
Weekly pay based on experience.
