We are seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to support the design and integration of control systems for multi-discipline engineering projects. Operating in Calgary's dynamic environment, the successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality project deliverables.
The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will play a critical role in translating practical concepts into fully functional, commission-ready systems.
Develop detailed design packages for instrumentation and control systems, including specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
Create and Review I & C engineering documentation including:
Perform instrument selection, sizing, and procurement to meet project and industry standards.
Design and implement control system architectures, including PLC/DCS systems and HMI configurations.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation and controls into overall project designs.
Conduct site visits to assess existing systems and support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation to support project execution.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
