Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
•
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
•
Conduct industrial cleaning as needed to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
•
Carry out floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, and waxing floors
•
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required
•
Handle custodial duties for both residential and commercial spaces
•
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly
•
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
•
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles preferred
•
Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus
•
Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
•
Ability to perform residential painting tasks when necessary
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety
•
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
•
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
