Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks while supervising a team of groundskeepers.
Duties
•
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
•
Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and garden upkeep.
•
Maintain equipment and tools used for landscaping operations, ensuring they are in good working condition.
•
Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
•
Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
•
Train new team members on best practices in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
•
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Experience
•
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping, with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
•
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising a team in a landscaping or similar environment.
•
Familiarity with various landscaping tools and equipment, along with the ability to perform basic repairs.
•
Knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation is highly desirable.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
