Job Overview

We are hiring a Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy outdoor work and have an understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both beautiful and functional. The Landscape Technician will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality landscaping services.

Responsibilities

•

Operate and maintain power tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

•

Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching to ensure the aesthetic appeal of gardens and lawns.

•

Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance the appearance of trees on properties.

•

Irrigate landscapes effectively, ensuring proper water distribution for plants and lawns.

•

Dig and prepare soil for planting new trees, shrubs, or flowers as part of landscape enhancement projects.

•

Engage in groundskeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and order in outdoor areas.

•

Maintain gardens by planting, watering, fertilizing, and caring for various types of plants.

•

Assist in hardscape installation projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls to improve outdoor functionality.

Experience

•

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.

•

Familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is advantageous.

•

Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, irrigation techniques, and soil management is beneficial.

•

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while demonstrating physical stamina for lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.

•

A strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in all landscaping tasks.

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation

Physically fit (able to lift 50+ lbs, walk long distances)

Comfortable working in the heat and rain Team player with a strong work ethic Landscape or outdoor work experience

Preferred (But Not Required):

Drive a truck with trailer

Knowledge of plants, irrigation, fertilization

Pesticide license

Tree climbing experience

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
