Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. This role is essential in ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently and effectively in residential and commercial properties.
Duties
•
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
•
Troubleshoot and repair various HVAC equipment, including boilers and air conditioning units.
•
Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues and provide timely solutions.
•
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
•
Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns.
•
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service calls.
•
Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status.
Experience
•
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in the field.
•
Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations and repairs is a plus.
•
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, showcasing excellent problem-solving skills.
•
A valid HVAC certification or license is preferred but not mandatory.
