Lead Painter - Full-Time, Part-Time

Finaltone Painting Company is seeking FULL-TIME and/or PART-TIME Lead Painters for work in the greater metro Twin Cities area [Minneapolis, St.Paul, and surrounding areas]. We specialize in multi-housing exterior and interior painting, as well as other commercial and residential projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM of 3 to 5 years doing interior and/or exterior painting (experience leading a crew is a plus)

knowledge of painting techniques, and proficiency in using the tools of the trade

be motivated and dependable, with excellent attention to detail

ability to follow directions and to be respectful and courteous to clients and coworkers

strong problem-solving and time-management skills

ability to "stay cool" on tough jobs

ability to work independently and as part of a team

have reliable transportation

ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

ability to climb ladders and work at heights (project dependent)

ability to successfully communicate with English-speaking clients and coworkers

KEY JOB DETAILS:

Lead Painters are assigned to jobs around the Twin Cities and surrounding areas and are required to arrive to job sites on time, as scheduled.

Lead Painters perform all types of exterior and interior painting work, including surface preparation (e.g., prepping various surfaces by washing, scraping, remove old caulking, re-caulking, etc.).

Lead Painters may also lead a crew or help less experienced painters, from time to time

Painters are required to adhere to company and regulatory safety procedures at all times.
