Summary:

As a Logistics Coordinator at FET, you will be responsible for the coordination of products from suppliers to FET, and project managing the logistical process of each shipment. In coordination with vendors, various internal departments, and shippers, you will ensure shipments arrive on time and within budget.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

•

Arrange and track shipments of requested items by supply chain and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process, Booking to Receipt.

•

Prepare and support the creation of shipping documents, Booking Requests, Bill of Lading and Customs Documentation.

•

Ensure shipping data and workflow status are accurately represented within the ERP System and shared Logistics Reports.

•

Maintain accurate records of shipments and log shipment data into Logistics Reports.

•

Audit shipping invoices to ensure accurate charges

•

Submitting month-end financial reports; US Customs Withdrawals, In-Transit Inventory, Freight, Brokerage, Duty, and Tariff accruals

•

Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.

•

Follow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.

Skills/Knowledge

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

•

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

•

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

•

Experience/knowledge in supporting month-end financial reports; US Customs Withdrawals, In-Transit Inventory, Freight, Brokerage, Duty, and Tariff accruals

•

Experience/knowledge in international compliance; import and export laws, 7501 Entry Forms, Temporary Import bonds

•

ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred)

Education

•

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Experience

•

Experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation, and warehousing functions is a plus

•

At least two years of experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred

•

Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics company is a plus
