About This Job

Job Summary

American Contracting is a local general contractor who specializes in the repair and/or

replacement of roofing, siding and gutters damaged during severe weather events.

We are looking for experienced salespeople who are comfortable and confident in

navigating a typical conversation with a potential customer. Extensive 1 on 1 training is

provided.

Duties

•

-Offer free damage inspection for potential clients via targeted door to door sales

•

-Complete damage inspection

•

-Sit with customer in home to discuss damages found

•

-Meet with insurance company to show damage and answer questions

•

-Handle basic paperwork and data entry

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in sales is preferred but not required.

•

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.

•

Excellent verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

•

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about new products and services.

•

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
