Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. This position involves setup and operation of a manual boring mill.

Duties

•

Operate manual boring mill to machine fabricated parts as well as repair existing parts.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations.

•

Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.

•

Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Manual boring mill Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively.

•

Ability to use precision measuring tools including calipers and bore gauges accurately.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies related to machining.
