POSITION SUMMARY:

Marathon Petroleum Company (MPC) is currently accepting applications for an experienced Mechanic to work within its Marine Repair Facility (MRF) in Garyville, LA. Mechanics are critical members of the MRF, and we are looking for individuals who can contribute to our inclusive work environment.

Diesel engine experience including overhaul experience is preferred. Incumbent must have strong troubleshooting skills and be able to work jobs from start to finish. Incumbent needs a wide range of skills and experience including hydraulics, HVAC, sewage treatment systems, basic electrical knowledge. Mechanics are required to work both indoors and outdoors, in inclement weather, and may be required to work in confined spaces. Travel from the MRF to vessels in various locations, as well as other MPC facilities, may be required.
