ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
•Build strong relationships with IT staff, business users and end users providing and elevating overall IT customer service.
•Develop Best Practices Policy, Procedure and Guideline documentation; steer technical support and training (as appropriate) towards end users.
•Implement, install, configure, administer, monitor, troubleshoot and evaluate existing portfolio of Network and Security environments in Buesing. Review, Recommend, Plan and Execute future upgrade/update initiatives as required and necessary.
•Automate administration of enterprise-wide network switches, routers, firewalls, backups and other security applications.
•Ensure corporate network and security environments are secure, stable, redundant, available and performing.
•Regularly confers with members of the IT Team and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs.
•Involved in diagnosing and correcting system related failures and performing system management activities; determines logical solutions to complex system administration and application problems.
•Performs any other related duties as assigned by IT Management or business leadership.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Technology or related field; Relevant significant experience in field(s) may be considered in lieu of formal education
•Minimum (5) years of Network/System/Security Admin experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and demonstrative outcomes
•Experience in Routing and Switching, network Protocols, VOIP/IP Telephony, Firewall Maintenance, Network and System Monitoring, LAN/WAN, internet, VPN, IPSec and Site-to-Site tunnels, Wireless WiFi technologies
•Experience in SIEM, Advanced Threat Analysis/Detection and Mitigation, Correlation Analysis, MDM, Web Security, DLP, End Point Device protection & management
•Knowledge and experience in developing comprehensive security posture with corresponding strategic and tactical project plans
•Experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies and TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, Radius technologies, SAN storage, VMWare and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms a plus
•Experience in any Backup/Recovery administration, DR or other (Veeam experience is a plus)
•Experience in writing system documentation, system specifications / requirements and training materials
•General understanding of Web, Application and Database tiered internet architecture components (IIS, MS SQL, ASP.net etc) is a plus
•Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure resources and security (Azure is preferred)
•Demonstrated ability to properly develop and maintain accurate documentation
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote and onsite users
•Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff
•Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
•Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; detail orientated with high appreciation for excellence and quality
