The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a 3rd Class Operating Engineer to join our Utilities Maintenance Department at the Smelter in Sudbury, Ontario.

This is a permanent on-site position. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift, and shift relief when required (rotating between days and nights).

As a 3rd Class Operating Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of boilers, cooling towers, chillers, compressors, glycol cooling systems and associated auxiliary equipment. Your experience and skills will contribute to scheduled or emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance work to be done.
