In this role, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while managing parts and service transactions.
•
Identify customer needs. Search for customer parts using parts catalog.
•
Create, fill out, and close work orders for customers and internal tickets
•
Ensure all necessary warranty information is collected for Service claims
•
Quote service repairs
•
Ensure the service technician has proper supplies and parts to complete their work orders
•
Place daily customer and service department parts orders.
•
Stock and receive incoming parts orders.
•
Assist in processing weekly stock orders.
•
Notify customers when ordered parts arrive.
•
Provide necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties.
•
Return parts as needed and remove from inventory after credit is received.
•
Return cores to vendor in a timely manner and follow up for receipt of credit.
•
Match purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office.
•
File company copies of parts counter invoices.
•
Assist in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
•
Assist with parts department telephone coverage.
•
Keep parts area clean and uncluttered.
•
Maintains professional appearance.
•
Other tasks as assigned.
