Summary

Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team at Jomar Electrical Contractors. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate compensation for our employees. Your contributions will support our mission of maintaining operational excellence and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

•

Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.

•

Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

•

Assist new hires with onboarding.

•

Manage benefits administration and assist employees with inquiries regarding payroll.

•

Utilize accounting software to track payroll expenses and prepare reports.

•

Assist with preparing W-2 and other tax forms.

•

Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee records.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in payroll processing and management.

•

Familiarity with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks or similar tools - Foundation would be very beneficial.

•

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

•

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

•

Knowledge of benefits administration is a plus.
