POSITION - Union: Pipe Fitter B

RATE RANGE: $40.35-$50.26

Qualifications

Duties

Coordinates and performs work assigned. Performs or assists as necessary in installing, changing, relocating and removing meters; installing, maintaining, repairing and removing piping, meter connections and service regulators. Installs, repairs and maintains gas, water, vent and other piping. Must be capable of working semi-independently within 12 months. Has full responsibility for performing work safely and in a satisfactory manner. Responsible for organizing and maintaining tools and equipment assigned in an orderly condition; maintaining truck stock in accordance with prescribed requirements. Performs other miscellaneous Fitter Division work as required. Assists Serviceman on jobs requiring sori-skilled manual assistance, and performs other miscellaneous work as required. Performs the duties of a Meter Representative A.

This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive Position. Any applicant accepted for this classification would be required to comply with all drug and alcohol regulations. This Position may require passing a Respiratory Fit Test.
