Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant to support our team in various construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and maintenance person services, with the ability to read blueprints and operate hand and power tools effectively. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and efficient construction site, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
•
Assist in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
•
Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete various construction tasks, including pipe threading and assembly.
•
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site, promoting safety and efficiency.
•
Collaborate with team members to build structures according to project plans and timelines.
•
Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
•
Support the lead technician or supervisor in troubleshooting issues that arise during construction activities.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in construction plumbing or related maintenance person services is preferred.
•
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment commonly used on construction sites.
•
Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining quality standards.
•
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
•
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
•
A commitment to safety practices on the job site, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
