Power Systems Electrician

Overview:

This is Journeyperson level work in the repair and maintenance of electrical generation and control equipment, along with auxiliary equipment such as electric motors, transformers, relays, electronic governors, voltage regulators, and other NTPC electrical systems in diesel, gas, wind, solar, battery energy storage systems and /or hydro generating stations. All work shall be carried out in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and Northwest Territories Power Corporation policies and standards. Previous experience related to installing and commissioning diesel gensets rated 75 kW and above is also required. Responsibilities:

Salary for this position ranges from $50.05/hr.-$60.81/hr. plus a location allowance of approximately $6,184 per year.
