Position Summary: The ideal Production Machine Operator in the Cases Department will be mechanically inclined working on a variety of presses and machines. Has the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications. Operates alternately more than one type of production machine tool such as grinders, mills, drill presses, lathes, etc., on a limited range of production work, involving close tolerances. Reads and interprets job traveler/router
Performs highly repetitive types of short cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units. Starts, stops, and feeds the machine while watching for imperfect operations. Adjusts speeds, feeds, and tooling as needed.
Salary, Benefits: Benefits for this full-time, overtime eligible position include a 4-10 hour day work week (1st shift), bonus program, 401k plan including company match, healthcare, dental, life insurance, and paid time off. Production Machine Operator in the cases department will start in the $18 to $20 an hour range depending on skill set/experience.
