Job Title: Production Operations Leader

Summary:
The Production Operations Leader is responsible for safe and efficient production operations within KTG's South Texas assets. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead and supervise all aspects of Production Operations, including but not limited to:
•Daily production operation activity oversight.
•Development of field-based staff to meet the needs of a rapidly growing organization.
•Supervision of field-based operations personnel.
•Strategic planning and implementation of processes to match the pace of production growth while remaining a nimble organization.
•Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, industry best practices, and KTG's safety policies.
•Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
•Monitor and track LOE and look for opportunities for cost improvement.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, service providers, and regulatory agencies.
•Mentor and train junior team members on safe work practices and technical procedures.
•Continuously improve production operations processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
•Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Geology) to optimize well performance.
•Stay abreast of industry advancements in production technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field preferred.
•Minimum of 15 years of experience. High pressure gas production experience preferred.
•Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
•Experience with emergency response planning and reaction.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Willingness to travel to the field approximately 25% of the time.
•Strong safety and environmental awareness.

•Leadership with the ability to engage at a detailed technical level as needed.
•Ability to simplify complicated operational situations and resolve in a prioritized manner.
•Knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Physical Demands:
•Ability to work in challenging field environments, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
•Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
