General Description
The position of Project Coordinator involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring of materials costs and labour for projects. The Project Coordinator works with the Manager of Engineering, Project Engineers, and Production Managers to control multiple projects.

Job Duties
Project Initiation - work with team to develop project plan per project initiation procedure:
•Attend meetings to understand project scope, engineering estimate and project schedule
•Setup and conduct internal / external meetings
Work with project management team members to create:
•document register with lead time and expected issue date
•detailed work break down structure
•Microsoft Project schedule with baseline/ critical path/ milestones
•risk assessment and mitigation plan for project
Project Execution - work with team to execute project per procedures:
•Work with Project Engineer / Engineering Manager to ensure documents are created, issued, authenticated and returned from client per contract commitments
•Work with Project Engineer / Procurement to ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and received on time and within budget
•Work with Project Engineer / Quality Manager to ensure Inspection and Test Plan’s (ITP) are created, issued, and signed off by all required parties
•Organize weekly project meetings, and complete / issue meeting minutes
•Update schedule/ budget for weekly project review meetings. Complete project metrics
•Update change log on weekly basis
•Inform Accounting when payment milestones are met for invoicing
•Review and close completed work orders
•Coordinate delivery of completed work orders to site
•Coordinate installation and commissioning (site work)
Project Completion -finalizing documentation and lessons learned for project.
•Ensure ITPs, as built drawings and any outstanding documents are issued and authenticated as required.
•Complete final cost report for project metrics
•Conduct lessons learned with team members
•Close all Genius work orders for the project
Required Skills
•Highly computer literate
•Genius ERP expert level for Project and materials planning
•Microsoft Project – advanced level
•Project and Inventory Management
•Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
•Able to work well under pressure
•Strong attention to detail
•Basic understanding of engineering drawings and bills of material
Required Qualifications
•Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or similar
•Project management certification an asset
•CSTS (Construction Safety Training Certification)

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
