Job Description – Project Manager, Restoration Construction – South Bend

Salary: Up to $70,000.00 per year, based on experience

Core Responsibilities
Project Planning and Scheduling:
•Develop comprehensive project plans that align with our core value of Winning Together, ensuring all parties work toward shared goals.
•Create and manage detailed schedules with clear deliverables and milestones.
•Collaborate transparently with internal and external stakeholders, building trust from start to finish.
Budget Management:
•Own project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
•Monitor expenses closely, track change orders, and drive financial accountability.
•Partner with accounting and coordinators to ensure accurate and timely billing—doing the right thing, every time.
Team Leadership:
•Lead a high-performing, collaborative team of carpenters, contractors, and support staff.
•Create an environment where team members are coachable, respected, and empowered to learn and grow.
•Provide daily guidance and motivation with a servant’s heart, focused on building trust and fostering team success.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
•Negotiate and manage contracts with integrity and transparency.
•Hold subcontractors accountable to high performance standards while maintaining positive relationships—because relationships matter.
•Champion a culture of safety and quality, ensuring every project is delivered with care and compliance.
Quality Control and Assurance:
•Implement rigorous quality standards that reflect Monroe’s commitment to excellence.
•Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions align with our company values and customer-first mindset.

Communication and Reporting:
•Provide timely, honest updates to clients and team members—fostering trust and exceeding expectations.
•Communicate clearly across departments to ensure alignment and accountability.

Qualifications
•Proven experience in construction project management with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
•3+ years of experience in interior remodeling/construction; knowledge of methods, materials, and safety standards.
•Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
•Committed to personal and professional growth—you're coachable, self-motivated, and open to feedback.
•You lead with empathy, humility, and a servant’s heart, motivated to help others succeed.
•Must reside in or near South Bend, have reliable transportation to/from job sites, and be able to pass a background check and driving record review.
