Job Summary: As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities:

•

Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations

•

Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers

•

Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner

•

Ensure Electronic and Daily Trips Log are up-to-date and submitted daily

•

Report any potential hazards to dispatch

•

Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations

•

Maintain Up-to-date understanding of TDG, WHIMIS and required trainings

•

Actively participate in team meetings and discussions

•

Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends

•

Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

•

Valid Commercial Driver’s license with airbrake endorsement/Class 3 License DZ

•

Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience

•

Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards

•

Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane

•

Experience delivering propane considered an asset

Knowledge & Skills:

•

Knowledge of propane considered an asset

•

Ability to work various shifts

•

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
