We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of quality control principles and techniques.
Responsibilities:
•Conduct incoming material inspections by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
•Perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts and assemblies to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
•Approve finished products by conducting final inspections, confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
•Identify and document any non-conformances or defects in materials, processes or products.
•Work with the production team to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
•Maintain inspection equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly.
•Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process.
•Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
•Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
•Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in quality control.
•Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on sheet metal fabrication.
•Strong knowledge of quality control principles and techniques, including familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in inspection and documentation.
•Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards preferred.
•Must be able to work independently and in a team environment, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
