Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and control processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems, as well as the ability to lead audits and implement effective quality control measures. The Quality Manager will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
Responsibilities
•Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
•Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
•Oversee the quality control processes, including QA/QC inspections, to ensure product integrity throughout the manufacturing process.
•Collaborate with production teams to establish and monitor quality metrics and performance indicators.
•Lead investigations into non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
•Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices, HACCP principles, CGMP requirements, and other relevant quality standards.
•Prepare detailed reports on quality performance for management review, highlighting areas for improvement.
•Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact quality management practices.
Skills
•Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and practices, including QA/QC processes.
•Proficient in ISO 13485, ISO 9001, HACCP, CGMP standards, and their application in manufacturing environments.
•Experience in conducting quality audits and inspections effectively.
•Ability to fabricate solutions to address quality issues as they arise.
•Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
•Proven leadership abilities with experience in training teams on quality systems and practices.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day
· Some Travel may be expected.
· Use of hands for typing, writing, using a phone, and handling documents or tools.
· Ability to read documents, screens, reports, and observe operations.
· Fluent English, to clearly speak with teams, clients, or production lines.
· Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. occasionally.
· Exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations, and chemicals.
