About This Job

Position Overview:

Hallman Asphalt & Sealing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative to manage and grow our residential asphalt maintenance and line striping divisions. This role combines customer service, project coordination, and sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage customer relationships, and a willingness to learn industry-specific software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Residential Asphalt Maintenance Sales

•

Manage residential asphalt maintenance proposals with the goal of expanding our customer base.

•

Drive yearly sales growth through proactive outreach to new clients.

•

Promote a 3-year maintenance plan to build long-term customer relationships.

Customer Communication & Representation

•

Respond promptly and professionally to initial customer inquiries via phone or email.

•

Schedule estimates efficiently, optimizing daily routes and notifying customers in advance.

•

Confirm receipt of contracts and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycle.

•

Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism, involving Gavin or Peter as needed.

Line Striping Division Growth

•

Learn and use bidding software to support and eventually take over all line striping estimates.

•

Understand the requirements for layout and restriping of commercial parking lots.

•

Work toward managing all line striping bids independently within 3 years.

Office & Technology Skills

•

Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to support office tasks and documentation.

•

Learn Google Earth Desktop for measuring driveways and parking lots for estimates and internal support.

Project Coordination

•

Collaborate closely with Gavin and Peter to plan and schedule projects.

•

Maintain awareness of inventory levels and coordinate equipment/tool maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

•

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•

Self-motivated and organized with a customer-first mindset.

•

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

•

Willingness to learn bidding software and measurement tools.

•

Ability to handle minor customer concerns diplomatically.

•

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
