About the Role

The Sales Administrator/Data Analyst is responsible for providing support to our customers and sales team by taking customer calls, assessing customer needs, funneling opportunities to the team, maintaining our data sources, understanding reporting methods, and providing actionable reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales support and customer service, excellent communication skills, advanced data entry, maintenance, and reporting capability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Duties & Key Responsibilities

Interact with customers/online inquiries to qualify and direct leads to the appropriate sales personnel
Interact with vendors to obtain special pricing and special-order items
Maintain materials pricing tables
Ensure quote data is accurate properly updated
Gather feedback from key stakeholders throughout organization on Sales data required/ reports/ dashboards for functions such as Forecasting, S&OP Planning, Target Tracking, and Departmental Planning
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that all opportunities are properly qualified and pursued
Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage daily workload
Attend all department and sales meetings as requested Qualifications
Report results to the team and in executive meetings
Other duties as assigned by leadership


What You Bring

Experience: Experience in a sales support or customer service role
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or finance or equivalent experience
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM Software, Epicor ERP, and advanced database reporting tools such as Tableau, Grafana, or PowerBI. Must also have time management and organizational skills, ability to work independently and part of the team, prioritize and plan workload effectively

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.


Work Environment

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
