Summary
We are seeking a Detailer to join our team at SWF Industrial. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Job Duties
•
AutoCAD and / or 3D modeling experience is a plus
•
Nesting and or bending software experience is a plus
•
Breakdown jobs and complete material take offs
•
Create flat layouts, bend details, and cut lists
•
Design and create drawings as needed
•
Look for more efficient ways to build projects while detailing
•
Nest parts for burn table and laser
•
Review work order and drawings for special instructions
•
Study and interpret assembly instructions
•
Read parts lists; read and interpret blueprints, sketches, work orders, and special instructions
•
Interpret measurements
•
Verify and hold tolerances per job requirements
•
Resolve or consult Shop Crew Leader on any assembly and production issues
•
Designs templates and fixtures
•
Notes any depletion of stock material to appropriate Shop Crew Leader
•
Complete job breakdowns and material take offs
•
Create flat layouts, bend details, cut lists
•
Design and create drawings as needed
•
Create RFQ’s as needed
•
Look for more efficient ways to build projects while detailing
•
Nest parts for burn table and laser
•
Combine like materials on nests whenever possible
•
Help to answer questions on detailed parts
•
Look for potential problem areas on jobs and notes them to the appropriate Shop Crew Leader
•
Looks for missing information on jobs and notes them to the appropriate Shop Crew Leader
•
Keep a schedule of daily workload
•
Optimize all stock material when nesting
•
Continually improving and adjusting duties to improve efficiency and effectiveness
