NOV Rig - Aftermarket is recruiting for a Supply Chain Intern – Aftermarket Operations to join our team at 5100 N Sam Houston Pkwy W Houston TX 77086. Primary responsibilities of this role include:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Study and map existing supply chain processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and suggest continuous improvement solutions to increase profitability.

•

Perform cost studies, simulations, process evaluations, benchmarking, and research on constantly evolving technologies and methods to establish standard procedures, process swimlane flows, process descriptions, and work instructions.

•

Write strategic business use cases based on desired goals.

•

Develop KPI dashboards using existing data sources.

•

Research and utilize data analysis methods to determine optimal sourcing options within and outside the organization.

•

Develop MS Excel macro tools using existing data to increase visibility in the end-to-end supply chain.

•

Improve existing MS Excel analysis tools and report templates.

•

Present findings, implementation, and potential cost savings to senior management.

•

Participate in continuous improvement projects.

•

Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

•

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

•

Currently enrolled in supply chain management/engineering, industrial engineering, operation research major – BS or higher degree.

•

A transcript will be required.

•

Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
