About Red Chris

Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Red Chris currently operates as an open-pit copper and gold mine with a promising future to transition to a high-value underground block cave operation. As a Team Lead, Environmental Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our mining operations meet regulatory, environmental, and sustainability commitments. Your leadership will drive compliance, manage audits, and implement environmental management plans to minimize impact and maintain operational integrity.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$94,350 - $111,000/year& 15% short term inentive target . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
