Midwest Ohio Cleaning Company is committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services with a professional and reliable team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Team Leader to oversee daily operations, support our cleaning staff, and ensure exceptional service for our clients.
Position Overview:
The Team Leader will be responsible for managing teams at client homes, maintaining staffing ratios, handling scheduling needs, addressing client and employee concerns, and assisting in the hiring and training process. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff & Scheduling Management:
•Ensure proper staffing ratios for each home (e.g., 2-person homes, 3-person homes).
•Handle employee call-offs, vacation requests, and shift changes by coordinating with the PRN pool and notifying the CEO for schedule updates.
•Address and manage issues with employee behavior, ensuring adherence to company policies.
•Transport employees to job sites in company vehicles (No personal vehicles are allowed for work-related travel).
Client & Operations Management:
•Communicate professionally with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
•Maintain a positive attitude with team members and foster a supportive, professional work environment.
•Prohibit gossip and negativity to promote a healthy and productive workplace.
•Address client complaints professionally and report all concerns to the office.
•Handle and report any broken items, damage to company vehicles, or issues at client homes.
•Communicate client life events (e.g., weddings, births, birthdays, pet losses, etc.) to the CEO to maintain strong client relationships.
•Ensure clients are directed to contact the office for scheduling changes.
•Maintain company vehicles, ensuring they are stocked and ready for employees before their shifts.
Leadership, Hiring & Training:
•Lead by example, upholding all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
•Assist in interviewing candidates for positions within their team or for the development of new teams.
•Train employees within their team and provide guidance to new Team Leaders as needed.
•Maintain open communication with the CEO regarding employee and client-related matters.
•Prepare agenda items for monthly meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
•Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role (preferably in cleaning services, hospitality, or a related field).
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Highly organized and detail-oriented.
•Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and confidentially.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be comfortable driving company vehicles).
•Ability to work the required schedule (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, including all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas).
