Customer Service Representative

CAL Steel & Sheet Metal, Inc is a family owned and operated business that has been in business for over 50 years. We are a full service, full service welding shop that specializes in fabrication of custom steel and aluminum products. We are looking for a customer-oriented individual to join our team as a customer service representative.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

·Providing excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving problems, and providing information regarding products, pricing, etc.

·Maintaining a positive attitude by providing excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving problems, and providing information regarding products, pricing, etc.

·Taking orders accurately and completing paperwork accurately for orders placed via phone or internet order system. Order processing includes uploading photos, making sure all paperwork is complete for each order placed via phone or internet order system, taking photos of completed orders for marketing purposes, making sure all paperwork is complete for each order placed via truck hauling or shipping department. Order processing includes welding part numbers on parts as needed for each order, taking photos of completed orders for marketing purposes, making sure all paperwork is complete for each order hauling or shipping department.

·Maintaining an organized inventory of parts in the computerized inventory system. Maintain an organized inventory of parts by keeping parts in the correct location in the warehouse or at the correct location in the distribution area. Maintain an organized inventory of parts by keeping inventory on hand at night and during weekend breaks. ·Maintain a clean work environment by following company procedures regarding safety, cleanliness, organization, etc., as well as federal safety regulations regarding Welding Co-op Incorporated (WCI).

·Perform other duties as assigned (i.e., help with production duties.)
