Welcome to ZINKPOWER – Terre Haute. When you join our team, you become part of a passionate family dedicated to operating a newly built state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanizing plant in Terre Haute, IN.
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Welder & Maintenance Helper. This individual must be self-motivated, learn new concepts quickly, and multitask efficiently.
The position is responsible for the following, but not limited to:
•
Welding and the fabrication of tools, fixtures, lifting devices, and special projects
•
Assembly and startup of new equipment
•
Support continuous improvement projects
•
A hands-on approach to supporting maintenance of cranes, forklifts, and production equipment
•
Operating and maintaining the filter press and the zinc recovery machine.
•
Order and pick up plant and maintenance supplies
•
Special tasks and other projects assigned
Qualifications / Requirements
•
Ability to complete sound structural welds and fabricate various items
•
A background in industrial maintenance
•
Ability to work at heights
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
