About The Role

This position will be a full-time, 16-month long internship opportunity commencing May 2025.

The IT Intern will provide direct technical assistance and support to Gerdau users for hardware, software and application issues. Duties include installing and maintaining computer systems including software & hardware on desktops and laptops, resolving internet and network access issues (both wired and wireless), providing network printer support, meeting with staff to provide one-on-one technical assistance as required, providing coaching to users on software & hardware use, and resolving issues with computers, software & access through evaluation, modification, repair, advice or engagement of additional support assistance.

The North American business divisions (Gerdau Long Steel North America and Gerdau Specialty Steel North America) produce long and special steel products for the agriculture, energy, industrial, automotive, and manufacturing markets. Our mills utilize efficient and clean production practices, including the use of electric arc furnace (EAF) technology. About G. Start, Gerdau’s Next Generation

Gerdau is seeking university students to participate in our G. Start program. G. Start is a paid internship program with the goal of developing students for future technical and managerial positions.
