Job Overview:

As the Billing Specialist, you will successfully demonstrate the ability to process and manage various levels of inventory ticket, coding and invoicing processes to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of customer billing and internal inventory coding updates. You will also assist with purchase order and job ticket reconciliation, GL code auditing and other tasks as needed to assist with billing processes.

In this role, being organized, analytical and detail-oriented, while providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries or requests from clients and team members is imperative. Having strong research, communication and computer skills are also a necessity. You should be committed to providing accurate, efficient, reliable, trustworthy support to fellow team members, as well as our external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Daily review of job ticketing and inventory check returns to confirm accurate job costing is occurring.

•

Work in coordination with Billing Specialists in our District Offices to ensure accurate and timely service ticket, purchase order and invoice generation using RTMS/BASIS enterprise asset management system.

•

Audit and manage processes, working well with Dispatchers to ensure job coding and inventory return accuracy.

•

Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts and information related to internal and external transactions.

•

Assist the accounting team in regular financial activities, including generating reports, job costing reviews and assisting with transaction audits and resolving discrepancies.

•

Assist District Manager with Contractor and Fishing Tool Supervisor billing submissions.

•

Exhibit strong communication skills, both orally and in writing while learn and applying best practices with internal, customer and vendor communications (email, voicemail, telephone and face-to-face)

Basic Qualifications:

•

Ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperatively within a team.

•

Must be capable of troubleshooting issues, developing efficient solutions for problem resolution and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

•

Must live local to the Odessa office and be willing to travel as needed.

Experience level:

•

2-3 years in billing and/or inventory management with a progression in complexity, scope and task level

•

1+ years’ experience with RTMS/BASIS

•

Bachelor’s degree preferred

•

Knowledge of GAAP
