Fort St. John Co-op is hiring a C-Store Division Manager to lead our Convenience Stores located in the North Peace and Northern Rockies Regions.

Please note this is a temporary position covering a leave of absence.

What you’ll do:


You will be primarily responsible for overseeing the operations for a number of retail stores in the North Peace and Northern Rockies Regional areas, by:

Builds Effective Teams: Providing daily guidance, performance management and support to your team.
Business Insight Developing and fostering c-store locations that lead the market in brand and merchandising standards.
Strategic Mindset: Establishing goals and measurements that align to the organizations strategic plan, while promoting consistency and compliance through policies and procedures.
Financial Acumen: Supporting stores in maintaining financial strength by improving profits and controlling expenses.
Operational Efficiency: Developing and administering sustainable objectives that promote divisional growth, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Representation of Values: Upholding our values of Integrity, Commitment, and Responsibility*.

Who you are:


You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

You have completed high school and hold post-secondary education in business or a related discipline.
You have 8+ years’ experience in the retail environment, and 5+ years in a leadership capacity with commodity, financial and human resource accountabilities as well as providing advice to senior executives.
You have experience effectively leading and managing teams along with coaching and providing feedback to team leaders.
You’re experienced in strategic planning and business development.
You have knowledge of how to improve sales, grow margin, and manage expenses.
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan. The range for this position is $86,120 –107,650 annually. Starting wage will be commensurate with education and experience.
