Concrete Foreman

We are currently seeking a career driven individual(s) to join our team as a Concrete Foreman for our Concrete, Grading, or Wet Utility projects. Our ideal and selected candidate(s) will be working with our team of estimators, project managers, superintendents, and field staff. This open position offers an exciting opportunity for the right person having a strong desire for a career in the civil construction industry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Mange and work with concrete crew

· Perform various task related to concrete work, such as pouring, leveling, and finishing

· Comprehend construction drawings and survey stakes

· Set forms for footings, walls, slabs, decks, curb/gutter, and sidewalk

· Install rebar per shop drawings

· Coordinate inspections

· Calculate concrete quantities

· Communicate quality expectations with crew

· Operate hand and power tools

· Attend project meetings

· Collaborate with supervisor on means, methods, and productions

· Identify risks/problems and provide solutions

· Understand CDOT M&S standards

· Knowledge of concrete mix designs and quality control requirements

· Understand and advocate OSHA regulations

· Maintain a clean job site

· Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

· Structural and flatwork concrete experience

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as foreman or lead person

· Diver’s license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

· Stand, walk, sit, kneel, climb, jump, sprint

· Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs

Compensation and Benefits:

· Wages $35 to $45
