Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to oversee and enforce safety practices on our active construction sites. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting site leadership by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, general contractor safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Monitor and enforce jobsite compliance with company safety protocols, general contractor safety policies, and OSHA standards.
•Perform regular inspections of the worksite to identify and document both positive and negative safety observations.
•Prepare and submit a comprehensive Daily Safety Observation Report to the Safety Administrator.
•Coordinate the mitigation of safety hazards with the safety carpenters assigned to the project.
•Communicate safety updates, hazard resolutions, and ongoing safety concerns directly to the Superintendent and relevant personnel.
•Participate in site safety meetings and toolbox talks; provide input and raise awareness of site-specific hazards.
•Support incident investigations and root cause analysis when necessary.
•Serve as an onsite safety resource to field personnel, answering questions and providing guidance on safe work practices.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, preferably on vertical concrete structures using formwork and cranes.
•Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
•Strong communication and observational skills with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
•Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate active construction sites safely.
•OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred). [Not required]
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required.
•Additional safety training will be provided upon hire to ensure familiarity with company-specific protocols and jobsite procedures.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
