JS West has an exciting and inviting opportunity for a Temporary Credit Technician based in our Modesto corporate office that can thrive in a fast paced- high pressure work environment. Reporting directly to the Credit Supervisor, in this position you will be responsible for reaching out to customers to collect payment for overdue bills. Our ideal candidates will have a team player attitude.

Duties and responsibilities can vary. A partial list includes:

· Creating and reviewing aging reports and past due receivables daily

· Identifying problem accounts and analyzing past due accounts

· Contacting customers by phone and mail to collect on past due bills

· Sending statements of delinquencies

· Tracking and reporting account activity

· Working as a team player with special projects as assigned

We expect our Credit Technicians to have the following skills and abilities:

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

· Phone skills that are strong, courteous, friendly, and professional

· Self-motivator, driven, and enthusiastic

· Detail oriented and focused

· Computer literate with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Time management- can balance work to meet deadlines and can work in sometime hectic situations

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
