Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our crushing operations with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in operating heavy equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and managing a team of workers to achieve project goals. The Foreman will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities
•
Supervise and coordinate the activities of crew members on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
•
Operate heavy equipment
•
Oversee project specifications and safety protocols.
•
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and perform basic maintenance as needed.
•
Collaborate with project managers to plan daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
•
Train new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
Experience
•
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is preferred.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation.
•
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is a plus.
•
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
•
A commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of work.
•
Possession of relevant trade certifications considered a strong asset.
