Position Summary:

The Digital Communications Specialist – Corporate Communication is responsible for the overall content coordination and development for digital Communications, focuses on creating engaging, educational and compelling content for a global audience – internal and external. This role will support global functions, enterprise transformation efforts, and support business units through the use of digital signage, SharePoint/intranet, and other digital communications tools as well as social media management for UGI Corporation channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•

Supports operational approach to digital communications for a number of internal functions and BUs

•

Build out for OneUGI on SharePoint, including UGI Corporation site and subsequent subsites/pages based on Corporate Communications strategy

•

Coordinates content collection and content development for digital signage across all UGI BUs (where applicable)

•

Build strategy and content for UGI Corporation social media channels

•

Execute Corporation Communication strategy across digital channels, ex. SharePoint, Social Media, Video, Digital Signage

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•

Excellent editing, proofreading, and composition skills required; skilled at identifying requirements, key messages, key stakeholders, and developing an approach to effectively share information

•

Ability to understand the current business environment and be able to craft compelling messages that concisely and effectively deliver relevant content

•

Understands digital platforms (SharePoint, Poppulo, Sprout Social, digital signage etc.) and social media

•

Strong organizational and project management skills; strong attention to detail

•

Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence all levels of associates ranging from individual contributors to executives

Education:

•

Bachelor’s Degree; Communications or Journalism a plus

•

2-5 years

•

Adobe Creative Suite, video editing and production skills, Sprout Social
